Never Make a Meal of Murder is a novel I have been developing over the past five years and is scheduled for publication in early–mid 2026.
Set in 1920s England, the story follows Detective Mr Tanté, a perceptive yet quietly fallible investigator whose observations are as inward as they are astute. Drawn into a murder within a country manor, he navigates the case with dry, understated humour, favouring human behaviour over brute deduction. The novel is shaped by domestic realism and psychological verisimilitude, concerned less with spectacle than with character, motive, and atmosphere.
Ollie’s Big Mistake is a children’s picture book written and illustrated by me, and self-published in 2024. Inspired by my cavoodle, Ollie, the story explores responsibility, repair, and emotional growth through a gentle narrative of missteps and making amends.
The book has been presented in a public reading at The Uralla Shire Library and is available through Seasons of New England, Concepts of Armidale, Amazon, or directly through myself.
